In regards to human knowledge, how can we know anything if we don't know WHAT we are or WHERE we are?

Your assumption is flawed, to say we don't know where we are, assumes we know there are other places. All we know for sure is the third dimension in which we exist as physical beings. we know we are here because we have a measurable effect on the world around us. Just because there is one thing we don't know for sure is not evidence that we can't know anything else.
