Should Geckos be considered as Domesticated Reptiles?
Should Geckos be considered as Domesticated Reptiles? They have live along side us for thousands if not millions of years than any other reptile has ever had, I do understand that reptiles are not anything like mammals or birds but mammals and birds weren't the only animals domesticated by us, we have domesticated animals like fish and others, so it is possible for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates to be domesticated to? but from what i've read, researched, and seen on many documentaries about geckos is that they have lived along side us for years and years and even more years to come so i'm just wondering should we consider geckos as domesticated reptiles? i'm aware that these animals still have their "wild" instincts and are still wild animals that could still be found in the wild to this day but haven't you heard of species like the "House Gecko" these lizards live along side us for years and so has many other species of gecko but what do you think should we consider these reptiles as domesticated or not? Give your Opinion: Why or Why Not?
