I'm wondering if a Tamron 28-200 3.8/5.6 Af F/nikon lens will work on my d70. Need help! thanks?

I've spent hours trying to figure this out. I can't seem to find a conclusive article or review and i just seem to be going in circles telling myself that it will/or won't work. really frustrating. thanks for any help.
