What is your opinion on circumcision?

I'm taking an anatomy class at my college and we talked about this the other day. For the most part, people who don't circumcise because of religious reasons do it for hygiene. The idea is that the foreskin traps bacteria, which makes it easier to get infections. Also, recent research shows that uncircumcised men may be more likely to get STD/STI's because the foreskin traps certain viruses and supposedly creates an ideal breeding ground for some of the nastier ones. As far as sensitivity goes, none of the research that I've read is conclusive; some say it decreases sensation and some say it increases it. But, I'm no expert so don't quote me or anything.
